Hopewell Rocks, NB (Flowerpot Rocks)
Our eastern road trip took us to Bay of Fundy National Park. From there it was a short drive to the famous Flowerpot Rocks. As their tagline states – Walk the ocean floor. We were there in the early morning so low tide meant a lot of pug walking the ocean floor.

It’s a long walk from the parking lot to the site. We kept a steady pace. However the last part to get to the ground was a giant, metal staircase. It was corrugated metal steps so the pugs had difficulty climbing down. Being the Pug Dad that I am, I lifted one under each arm and carried them down

We took the tour. She explained how the rocks were formed. I didn’t realize the immense power of the tides in the Bay of Fundy – over 160 billion tons of seawater. The highest tides in the world. We went out to the edge to get some background pictures.
